So we were pretty nervous about moving without a job! It was so not like either of us so when we got to Laramie we were pretty focused on jobs! Cam spent every day going from business to business and every night looking up more businesses for the next day! His persistent search paid off faster then either of us could have imagined when a week later he was offered a job at place that was one of his first choices! So he is now working for the UniWyo Federal Credit Union! He is a Member Service Representative and is really excited!
From the first time he stepped into the credit union he said it was a really good environment and they really encourage internal growth! It is a full-time benefited position which is great! Also they pay for three credits of classes per semester so Cam is really interested in getting his masters! We are really excited about it and recognize the blessing that it is! Congrats Cam! ;)

A Skip and a Hop!
So August brought new adventures for us as we decided that we were going to pack up and move to Laramie, Wy. It was a decision that although it had been talked about..a lot...came pretty quick! I had applied to UW in May when we first started looking at it and Cam started looking at some jobs but we hadn't quite got serious until the end of July! At this point we decided that we needed to find out if this was what we wanted to do and so we took a couple days off work and headed on a mini-vacation! We spent 4 of the most discouraging days as we drove from apartment to apartment and from job to job finding nothing! The apartments we found made us sick, they were old and nasty! I will admit, we're picky! But us not finding an apartment had nothing to do with fancy carpet and lots of bedrooms! We walked into apartments that I couldn't believe met any standard of livability, they reaked of pet urine, or were so run down that the walls had holes to the outside and much more! And although we looked a lot of jobs nothing was working out and we headed home pretty discouraged! The next two weeks were filled with lots of talking and praying and pretty soon we knew that we were heading to Laramie! We didn't have a place to live or a job but we new that it was best for us and so it was a pretty big leap of faith for us!
We spent the next week packing and Cam finished his last week at work. From then on we became more and more aware of the blessings we were receiving from our Heavenly Father! Trying to get everything ready for the move, we couldn't make another trip to Laramie, so the weekend before we moved, my parents drove to Laramie for us and started searching for any place for us to go! What a blessing it was after much of their own discouragement to find us a place in the student housing due to a last minute cancellation! I had called the same place several times, including the morning my parents went there and the lady had laughed as she told me that they had been contracted out since April and that she could put us on a list but it was a week before school and there was no way we would get in! We were so thankful for them going and re leaved that we had a place to go!
We left Blackfoot after a busy couple of days of packing and cleaning (thankfully Cam's family spent the day helping us clean and getting everything wrapped up!). It was a bitter-sweet day! We loved our ward and had a lot of friends and family there making it hard to move away. We were sad to leave, but are excited for the new adventure we are starting!

Boating with Grandma and Grandpa!
After visiting Grandma Brandy and Grandpa Garth during the summer we planned a trip to Palisades to go boating! So on the 13th we drove Cam's parents boat and stayed at a campground in Palisades! We were spoiled with a ton of yummy food! Roasting hot dogs is always fun and Grandpa made some yummy breakfast burritos and we were lucky enough to be the testers of a new dish! I can't remember the name of it but the best way I can describe it is like a tin-foil dinner but with steak and and a sauce in it! I hope I didn't mess that up too bad, but it was yummy! We were definitely fans! We got to spend Saturday on the lake! Grandma and Grandpa hadn't been on a boat in years and so it was fun to spend the day relaxing and tubing! We even got Grandpa on the tube! He did better then me! We were impressed! But it was a fun weekend and we were so glad we got to do it! We wish that we could see them more often!

Concert!!
Because it was so far to Manti, Tash and I stayed at Aunt Marge's the night before! Tash had to take a test that next morning and so after Shan's wedding Tash met me and we went to the Luncheon! Then we drove to Salt Lake where Mom and Dad had bought us tickets to the Lady Antebellum and Tim McGraw Concert! Because of some terrible traffic, by the time we got to the concert Lady Antebellum was just finishing..it was a bummer! But Tim McGraw was so good! It was my first concert and I was not disappointed! It was such a fun night! Thanks Mom and Dad!
After the concert Tash and I went back to Aunt Marge's and then the next morning we had a fun shopping day and then headed home! I totally got spoiled because on the way back I met Cam and his family in Preston for the Parade and the Preston Rodeo! It is a long standing tradition for them to go to the Rodeo and it was fun to be there with family! It was the perfect way to end the busy weekend and busy month!

Shan's Wedding!
On July 30th one of my best high school friends Shanna got married! It was a super long drive but it was totally worth it! She got married in Manti and it was the first time I had been in that temple! It is absolutely gorgeous! I wish Cam could have gone but we figured one of us needed to keep our job;)! But it was such a great day and it was so fun to be part of her fun day and she looked so pretty and happy! It was fun to see a bunch of friends that I don't see near enough! Congrats Shan and MacKay!

24th Celebration
There is nothing like July 24th in Cokeville! As I moved out of Cokeville, it was an absolute shock how little other people do around the 24th! As a result it quickly became a must for us to head to Cokeville for the weekend! It is always a good time and we weren't disappointed! We started out the weekend by going to Roger and Aralee's cabin for a family reunion! We got there late due to our work schedule, but it was fun to have so much family there! We have wanted to ride the Motorcycle to Cokeville to have a longer ride, and so we figured this was probably our last chance to do it before it got cold! So we loaded everything in a backpack and headed out! It was such a fun trip..a little scary on the interstate...but fun! (we were known for the rest of the weekend by the family as the motorcycle couple who had the big basket! I had Shan's wedding gift and so it sat on my lap!) But after hanging out with the fam and enjoying the awesome dutch oven dinner we headed to Cokeville! I skipped out on the motorcycle and let Jordan take my place! It was pretty cold!
The next day we got an early start with the parade! Cam loves the Cokeville parades because not only do they go down the street but they come back! ;) So after that we went to the program! Its amazing to me how good it is every single year! We love getting the opportunity to listen to Elder Perry and this year we got to listen to Elder........ from the........... After that we watched the flag football game! It was fun to watch! Mom found some old basketball jersey's that dad and his team had worn when he was in the good old days! ;) So Jordan put a team together with a lot of our cousins and some other friends! It was a fun game and we won overall! It was a really fun weekend and it is yet another reminder of how blessed we are and how grateful we are for our ancestors!

Yellowstone and the Bear!! :)
We got to to take a super quick trip to Yellowstone this summer! Because we were both working we left Friday night and came back Saturday night but it was so fun! Cam's family was already there and so when we got there we ate dinner and had some good times around the campfire! The next morning we got up and rode the motorcycles around the loop! I was really little the last time I had been there and so it was fun to see a lot of the places again and remember them! We spent most of the day riding from point to point and had a fun lunch at a campground!
Then probably the most exciting thing happened for me! I was quite obsessed with seeing a bear! I have this weird fascination with them ever since I lived in Alaska but I always had such bad luck seeing one! I would literally miss them by minutes the whole time I lived there! It just became a joke! So of course, anytime we saw any group of people we always joked that it was a bear! Well as we were driving down the road we got to this corner where a ton of people were stopped and Cam's like maybe its your bear! Well he asked some people only to find out that it really was a bear! Cam was shocked as I jumped off the back of the motorcycle before he had even stopped! So shocked that as he turned to see if I had fallen he hit the horn on is bike..much to many peoples dismay! lol...
But there it was! The cutest bear of all time! It was right off the road and there was a little ledge above it! I wanted a picture so bad and people thought I was crazy because I got pretty close, that was until they all followed! (In my defense...there were so many people around that bear wanted nothing to do with getting any closer. And there was a pretty good ledge...AND really all I had to do was outrun the person next to me right?..jk!) But it was so fun! I was so excited and it made my day! It made buying a bear souvenir inevitable! It was the highlight of our trip! It is such a pretty area and it was fun to get to spend some time with Cam's family! It was a late night but so worth the quick trip!
