There is nothing like July 24th in Cokeville! As I moved out of Cokeville, it was an absolute shock how little other people do around the 24th! As a result it quickly became a must for us to head to Cokeville for the weekend! It is always a good time and we weren't disappointed! We started out the weekend by going to Roger and Aralee's cabin for a family reunion! We got there late due to our work schedule, but it was fun to have so much family there! We have wanted to ride the Motorcycle to Cokeville to have a longer ride, and so we figured this was probably our last chance to do it before it got cold! So we loaded everything in a backpack and headed out! It was such a fun trip..a little scary on the interstate...but fun! (we were known for the rest of the weekend by the family as the motorcycle couple who had the big basket! I had Shan's wedding gift and so it sat on my lap!) But after hanging out with the fam and enjoying the awesome dutch oven dinner we headed to Cokeville! I skipped out on the motorcycle and let Jordan take my place! It was pretty cold!
The next day we got an early start with the parade! Cam loves the Cokeville parades because not only do they go down the street but they come back! ;) So after that we went to the program! Its amazing to me how good it is every single year! We love getting the opportunity to listen to Elder Perry and this year we got to listen to Elder........ from the........... After that we watched the flag football game! It was fun to watch! Mom found some old basketball jersey's that dad and his team had worn when he was in the good old days! ;) So Jordan put a team together with a lot of our cousins and some other friends! It was a fun game and we won overall! It was a really fun weekend and it is yet another reminder of how blessed we are and how grateful we are for our ancestors!
