For Easter weekend Cam had to deliver some parts to a customer in Rock Springs on Saturday and my family was coming home from their trip and had to drive through Rock Springs. So after some careful planning we surprised them by showing up in their van in the Wal-Mart parking lot there! It was fun to surprise them! When we got back to my parents on Saturday we dyed easter eggs (despite how tired we all were and it was already midnight...hence the baggy eyes!!) Then the tradition continued (this year with some extra help) with the hiding of the eggs and the total basement redecoration with candy! This year the kids picked out our own Easter and the highly efficient war weapons were purchased and we enjoyed our mini war! It wouldn't have been complete without our "matching bunny ears" It was a lot of fun!

To offset our "contention" we enjoyed listening to General Conference and remembering the importance of Easter. It is always such a blessing to listen to the words of our leaders and we enjoyed the powerful messages they brought. The gospel is such a blessing in our lives and as the world struggles around us it is such a comfort to know that we can always turn to the Lord and know that if we follow his commandments then we will be blessed. We are so grateful for the Saviors atonement his sacrifice for each of us. We are so thankful for our families and for the chance to reflect on our many blessings!
